Details regarding the budget, human resource, and other physical infrastructure of the program are as follows:
Budget
- Grants received from the Government of Nepal through the Agricultural Research Council
- Grants received from various national and international organizations for competitive research programs
- Funds received in collaboration with international organizations for the project
Human Resource
Currently, the nationally mandated program is working with a small team of human resources comprised of two senior scientists (1 Agri-economics and 1 Horticulture), one scientist, one technician, seven support staff and one administrative and one account staff.
Physical Infrastructure
- 20 ha of farm area including forest and ditch areas
- A well-equipped tissue culture laboratory including general laboratory-building and two glasshouses.
- Library and Museum
- Office and Staff Residence Building
- Training building with basic infrastructure
- Computers, printers, multimedia, and photocopy machines
- Telephone, email, and internet facilities for communication
